President and Founder

Lisette Gelinas (CM)

As the Founder and President of Impact & Main Inc., Lisette’s goal is to help small and medium communities and organizations achieve their ambitious strategic priorities and ultimately grow their community or organization.

Lisette has 25+ years of experience leading the development of strategic plans and creating branding, marketing and communications programs for municipal governments, non-profit, and public and private sector organizations.

Prior to founding Impact & Main, Lisette was a Senior Associate for 7 years with the St. Clements Group helping municipalities find innovative and strategic economic development solutions that maximize the economic prospects of communities, attracting residents, new businesses and jobs. For example, Lisette led the work for new client Smooth Rock Falls, helping them create a new brand identity and marketing focus which included successful campaigns to attract new residents, investors and businesses. Impact & Main Inc. continues to work with the Town of Smooth Rock Falls on their economic development, marketing and communications needs.

Lisette’s current client work also includes acting as a strategic advisor to the Board of the Canadian Polar Bear Habitat as they rebrand and transition from an advocacy to a governance board.

Lisette is a committed and passionate volunteer sitting on the board of directors for the Adoption Council of Ontario and the Open Arms Children’s Foundation. And Lisette is part of the curriculum development and teaching team at the Canadian Marketing Association helping to create a new national professional designation for marketers.

On a personal note, Lisette is fluently bilingual, grew up in Blind River and Kirkland Lake and still returns ‘home’ to Northern Ontario throughout the year to her camp near Matheson, Ontario.
